2027–2028
with Thomas Hübl
A 16-month Professional Development Program to Learn the Principles and Practices for Working with Collective Trauma
now taking applications
Become part of a global network of trained facilitators
If you have completed the Timeless Wisdom Training and have professional experience in therapeutic and/or group facilitation work, you are invited to continue your studies with Thomas in the Collective Trauma Facilitator Training (CTFT). During this 16-month intensive program, you will expand your understanding of the principles and the architecture of collective trauma as well as the skills necessary to hold a collective healing container. To receive a Certificate of Completion for the training, participants must attend all six program retreats and monthly small group meetings and complete two homework projects.
After the 16-month CTFT training, graduates will be evaluated and those approved by Thomas will be invited to deepen their skills during an 18-month CTFT Practice Phase. You will be working in small teams, with the Pocket Project, to develop Integration Labs. The Integration Labs are year-long online groups dedicated to exploring and addressing specific thematic or geographic dimensions of ancestral and collective trauma.
By developing and co-facilitating an Integration Lab while being mentored by Thomas Hübl and a Mentoring Team, you will gain practical experience of facilitating Collective Trauma Integration Processes (CTIPs). Upon completing the CTFT Practice Phase, your skills will be assessed and you will be approved as either: a Collective Trauma Facilitator; Collective Trauma Co-facilitator; or a Collective Trauma Facilitator-In-Training.
After the Practice Phase, you will be invited to join a continuous learning community with Thomas, the Collective Trauma Facilitator Network.

Program Curriculum
Online Workshop #1:
April 1-4, 2027 (4 days)
Principles of Collective Trauma & Architecture of the Collective Unconscious
In this opening workshop, participants will be introduced to the foundational principles, dynamics, and architecture of collective trauma and the collective unconscious. Together, we will explore how unresolved historical and systemic trauma shapes present-day perception, behavior, relational patterns, and societal structures, while also influencing emerging futures.
Through experiential inquiry and guided reflection, participants will learn to recognize systemic symptoms and processes of absenceing, and to support movements from fragmentation and reduced relational flow toward restoration and integration.
Participants will also learn basic principles of group facilitation. We will explore the role, the skillset, the responsibilities, and the inner states of a facilitator. We will look at the commitment, practices, and training required to continuously expand into the role of a group facilitator as a lifelong path.
Core themes include:
- The energetic principles of the collective unconscious
- Stages of collective trauma integration
- Freedom of attention
- The relationship between tension and attention
- The process of onboarding the past into present awareness.
- Foundational trauma literacy
- Presence-based skills
- Awareness of vicarious trauma
Online Workshop #2:
July 8-11, 2027 (4 days)
Individual, Ancestral, and Collective Fluidity
This workshop explores the interconnected relationship between individual, ancestral, and collective dimensions of trauma and healing. Participants will deepen their capacity to discern how personal experience exists within broader intergenerational and collective fields, and how identity formation, social conditioning, and processes of “othering” emerge within traumatized systems. We will learn to identify those “shapes” existing in the architecture of our unconscious, and learn ways to integrate those pre-formed, non-emergent structures into development.
Through experiential practices and relational inquiry, we will investigate the distinctions and interactions between individual, ancestral, and collective trauma dynamics, while cultivating greater differentiation, discernment, and resilience in the face of fusion and projection.
Particular attention will be given to:
- Intergenerational attunement
- Individual and ancestral trauma within a field of collective trauma
- Presence and relatedness as core human capacities
- Development of collaborative intelligence within teams and group processes
- Strengthening our ability to navigate complex relational fields
- Continued training in group facilitation skills
- Ethical guidelines and boundaries
- Sensing and attunement skills
Online Workshop #3:
November 4-7, 2027 (4 days)
Intergenerational Trauma (Ancestors) and the Collective Trauma Integration Process (CTIP), Part 1
In this workshop, participants will be introduced to the Collective Trauma Integration Process (CTIP) through direct experience, guided practice, and supervised breakout groups.
Building on previous modules, the training deepens into intergenerational trauma work and the development of advanced group facilitation skills. Participants will learn how to create and sustain an intentional relational container capable of holding collective intensity while supporting safety, coherence, and transformation.
Through relational and systemic sensing practices, we will explore how to listen for “voices from the Dark Lake” and begin working directly with the energetic imprint of ethical violations across themes such as colonialism, racism, gender-based violence, war, genocide, ecology, and displacement.
The workshop combines whole-group experiential CTIP processes with smaller supervised practice groups, enabling participants to strengthen facilitation competencies, deepen systemic perception, and develop confidence in applying collective trauma integration principles in practice.
Online Workshop #4:
February 3-6, 2028 (4 days)
The Collective Trauma Integration Process (CTIP), Part 2
This module continues deepening the practice of the Collective Trauma Integration Process with a particular focus on ethical rupture, victim-perpetrator dynamics, and the resourcing of both facilitators and groups during challenging processes. Participants will engage in applied CTIP work across diverse collective themes while strengthening their capacity to remain grounded, regulated, and relationally attuned within high-intensity fields.
The workshop explores the developmental movement from entanglement toward individuation across individual, ancestral, and collective dimensions of experience, while examining the restoration of agency, choice, and human dignity within collective healing processes.
Core principles such as the three human rights — to Be, to Belong, and to Become — will support a deeper understanding of trauma, development, and ethical restoration. Participants will continue refining advanced facilitation skills, including systemic discernment, subject-object transcendence, and the ability to guide transformative group processes with greater clarity and resilience.
Online Workshop #5:
April 21-23, 2028 (3 days)
The Collective Trauma Integration Process (CTIP), Part 3 - Specific Applications
In this workshop, participants will explore the practical application of collective trauma integration within organizations, institutions, and wider societal systems.
Building on the experiential foundations of CTIP, the focus shifts toward how trauma-informed processes can support collective transformation, ethical restoration, and systemic renewal across multiple sectors of society. Participants will examine the impact of collective trauma within media, education, politics, healthcare, and organizational culture, while exploring pathways toward post-traumatic learning and growth.
Additional themes include:
- The effects of global trauma triggers and accelerated information environments
- The importance of self-care and regulation within collective trauma fields
- Development of collaborative leadership capacities
- How to facilitate trauma-informed leadership, teamwork, and systemic change processes
In-Person Retreat
Location: Hof Oberlethe, Germany
CTIP in-person work - Integration & Ethical Restoration
This immersive in-person retreat offers participants the opportunity to deepen and integrate the learning from the previous modules through sustained collective practice, embodied relational work, and supervised facilitation experiences.
Working within a shared physical field allows for a more direct exploration of intensity, grounding, resonance, and collective regulation. Participants will continue refining their capacity to distinguish between individual, ancestral, and collective voices while learning to meet complex emotional and systemic energies with grounded presence and stability. The retreat emphasizes the recognition and restoration of ethical ruptures, the liberation of creative and collaborative potential, and the facilitation of meaningful integration processes across multiple dimensions of human experience.
Through whole-group CTIP sessions, breakout group prototyping, and ongoing supervision, participants will further develop their facilitation skills and deepen their embodied understanding of collective trauma integration.
Online Workshop #6:
July 15-16, 2028 (2 days)
Meta-learning
This concluding workshop is dedicated to reflection, integration, and preparation for the next phase of practical application and fieldwork. Participants will engage in processes of meta-reflection and meta-learning to synthesize the personal, relational, and systemic insights developed throughout the training journey.
The workshop explores the role of global social witnessing and the responsibility of facilitators working within complex collective fields, while supporting participants in translating the training into future projects, organizational applications, and international initiatives.
Particular attention will be given to preparing for the Practice Phase: including how to design and develop International Labs, and transitioning into the next phase of peer-to-peer learning, intervision, and mentoring support.
